There is no better testimonial than that of a happy child after their very first day on board.

“It was the best day of my vacation.”

That’s how one of our youngest guests began telling us about his experience of traveling with his family in Menorca aboard one of our yachts. And honestly… we couldn’t stop smiling while listening to him.

“When we got on the boat, I thought it was going to be like a normal trip… but it wasn’t. It was huge, like a house on the sea. Everything was shining, it smelled like summer and salt, and the crew was super friendly. They were always looking after us, helping us with everything, and telling us stories about the island, its turquoise waters, and all its lighthouses. It felt like they knew every corner of Menorca.”

As soon as we left the port, the day got exciting fast.

“The sea was super calm and suddenly they told us we could try the Seabobs. At first I was a little scared, but the moment I got into the water… it was incredible. It was like being a fish. I could dive deep, come back up super fast… the Seabob made me jump like a dolphin! I never wanted to stop.”

Then it was time for paddleboarding.

“My brother and I got on together and we fell off a thousand times, but we didn’t care. We laughed the whole time. We kept trying to balance, and in the end we’d just fall into the water again.”

Traveling with family in Menorca is already something special, but experiencing it from the sea changes everything.

“We also went snorkeling and I saw colorful fish, really strange rocks, and things I’d never seen before. The water was so clear and turquoise it looked like it had an Instagram filter on it. You could see everything perfectly. I didn’t want to get out.”

Meanwhile, back on board, the experience continued.

“When we got back on the boat, it smelled amazing. They had prepared a barbecue with meat that looked incredible. There was also a platter of Mahón ham and cheeses, and for dessert… a giant ensaimada filled with chocolate. We all ate together surrounded by the sea. I don’t think I’d ever eaten anything so delicious.”

But it wasn’t all about playing and eating. There were also moments that quietly stay with you forever.

“What I loved most was when we stopped at a cove where there was almost nobody. The captain took us there because it’s a place you can only reach by boat. Kind of like a secret place. It felt like it was just for us. The boat moved gently and everything was silent.”

At the end of the day, the atmosphere changed.

“We all sat at the back of the boat. I was tired, but happy. I lay there looking at the sky, listening to my parents playing and laughing in the water… and I thought I never wanted it to end.”

A family day on board is not just an excursion. It’s shared time, disconnecting from everything else, and living moments that stay with you forever.

“I think when I grow up, I’m going to remember this day. For sure.”

And we know it too.

Because traveling with family in Menorca is not just about discovering the island… it’s about discovering it together, from the sea, without rush, without noise, without screens. It’s about returning to simplicity, authenticity, and what truly matters.

And maybe, without even realizing it, that day wasn’t just an adventure. It was the beginning of a different way of traveling, of feeling the sea, and of understanding that the best memories are not found in plans… but in shared moments.

Because some days simply pass.

And some days stay with you forever.
